Why I’m torn on this

Stunning location and beautiful decor set the perfect atmosphere. The room was tastefully designed and equipped with a Nespresso machine, making our stay enjoyable. Also, dining experience was remarkable, with expertly crafted dishes and friendly service.

Insufficient staffing led to inconsistent service during meals. A few maintenance issues were hard to ignore, particularly the dated bathroom in need of attention. These problems diminished the experience for a four-star establishment expecting high standards.

I had a lovely stay at Killaloe Hotel & Spa. The fine views of Lough Derg and the comfortable room. Despite some noise from a large event, the friendly staff and delicious food made my visit nice.

i had a fabulous stay at the hotel & spa! the classic family room was beautifully finished, with comfy beds that my sons loved. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the village. the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, really making us feel welcome.

We enjoyed our stay while exploring the serene waterside activities. The hotel was convenient for our family, with attentive staff and a fantastic movie night for the kids. Our young baby was also well accommodated, and we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere.

In my wife’s opinion, the bar area needs a snack menu to cater to families. A quick bite option would be wonderful, especially for those times when the kids are not up for a full meal.

Just an optimal selection for a weekend escape in Killaloe with value for price. The staff were friendly and provided a childminder for the kids so we could relax during dinner. Make sure to enjoy the outdoor decking area with a nice view of the water.

This place suits me perfectly! It has great wi-fi, a relaxing bar area, and superb dining options. On my first visit, the staff helped me with a late check-in, which I appreciated. Highly recommend!

Total Relaxation Vibes

We had an amazing time! The spa treatments were fantastic, especially the massages from Clodagh and Ella. They made us feel so welcome. I loved the salt room, really helped my sinuses! Just a heads up, the wifi in our room was super spotty at times. Breakfast was awesome too, and the garden area is perfect for chilling out.

The staff provided excellent assistance with our room issue, ensuring we were comfortable.

The hotel offers lovely food and has a great location, but the service let us down. Delays during breakfast were frustrating, and we had some communication issues with the staff. The room was comfortable but lacked attention to detail overall.
